Medical Waivers:

Students who are absent for an extended period or miss school due to a medical condition may have the absence excused by providing the administration with verification that supports the absence from the health care provider.

If the student has an ongoing medical condition that may cause them to miss school or to be tardy from time to time, the health care provider can supply documentation of the condition and this can serve as an ongoing medical waiver for absences related to that condition (only).  Thereafter, the parent/guardian must write a note for each absence or tardy related to the ongoing medical condition.

Medical waivers must be renewed each year.
