News from the Pine Hill Lunch Program
Students have many choices for lunch at Pine Hill. A monthly lunch menu is posted on the Pine Hill website (www.doversherborn.org). Go to the Pine Hill link.
Daily lunch offerings include:
Hot lunch – meal of the day $2.00
Sandwich lunch of the day $2.00
Bag Lunch To Go $2.00
Salad $2.00
Daily A la Carte offerings include:
Soup $1.50
Ice Cream $.75 CASH ONLY
Cookies (on Tuesdays only) $.50
Milk $.50
Water $.75
To avoid confusion, we will not be allowing students to go into a deficit on their lunch accounts. If a student has an amount of cash in their account not large enough to purchase lunch, the student will be allowed to complete the lunch transaction for that day. However, once a student’s account has a negative balance, they will need to bring money for lunch or they will be given an alternative lunch for that day.
All lunches and lunch items can be purchased with cash or “tickets”.
Regular Meal Tickets – for hot lunch, sandwich lunch, bag lunch, or salad
$20.00 increments
A La Carte Tickets – for soup, cookies, milk, water, ice cream
Any increment
Please be sure to specify which tickets you are purchasing. It is recommended that you start the year off with $60.00 for each child’s account. Checks should be made payable to: Sherborn Lunch Program and have your child’s name written on the check. Checks can be sent to school with your child or sent in prior to the beginning of the school year in an envelope – Attention: “Kitchen”.
Please note: students do not actually receive these “lunch tickets”. A list is kept next to the cash register and your child will tell the cashier that they have “lunch tickets”. The cashier will deduct their purchases from their ticket count. She will inform your child when he/she are running out of “tickets”. Any money left at the end of the school year will be carried over to the beginning of the next school year.
